Benson families celebrated Literacy Day today. In the morning, parents visited classrooms to engage in literacy activities with their children. Hundreds of new library books were displayed in the school library. The new Ontario Early Years Centre made a great debut this morning. This afternoon students participated in a school wide Read A Thon. Guest readers visited the classrooms and students were invited to the library to borrow some of the exciting new resources.
Way to read Benson!
Staff and students enjoying the new library books purchased with the Ministry Library Resource Initiative grant.
